The board and staff of Neighborhood Leadership Institute are pleased to welcome Ryan Puente to the newly-created position of Manager of Community Advocacy & Education. In his role, Ryan will coordinate community advocacy and education programs, build awareness about programs within the community, and develop community partnerships to promote the mission of the Institute. A graduate of Class 31, Ryan will also assist in overseeing our flagship program, Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland, and serving as a liaison between alumni and the Institute.
Prior to joining the Institute staff, Ryan worked as a researcher at Burges & Burges Strategists and served on the Institute board. Before that, he served two White House internships under the Obama Administration while earning his Master of Public Administration from George Mason University.
In his free time, Ryan serves on the board of Union Miles Development Corporation, is president of the Cuyahoga County Young Democrats, and is a member of the Crain’s Cleveland Business Young Professional Board.
He and his wife Amanda live in Lakewood.
