The Institute announces Book #2 for Community Book Club

NLI’s highly popular Community Book Club is moving on to its second book. On August 11th, we will begin facilitated discussions on The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein. This book will be discussed at weekly online sessions hosted again by NLI facilitator GiGi Elder. We anticipate these discussions will run from August 11th to September 15th.

Rothstein’s The Color of Law outlines a powerful and disturbing history, and exposes how American governments deliberately imposed racial segregation on metropolitan areas nationwide (New York Times book review).
