Community Book Club – The Sum of Us begins June 15th

We invite you to join us for the next Community Book Club! Heather McGhee’s The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together is the seventh book in Neighborhood Leadership Institute’s Community Book Club. Hundreds of community members have contributed to ongoing dialogue on social justice in previous groups and we invite you to join as well. These Book Club discussions begin Tuesday June 15th. The group will convene for five weeks, with the last session scheduled for July 13th.  Guests will participate in weekly discussions led by NLI facilitator GiGi Elder. Participants should be ready to discuss the Introduction and Chapters 1 & 2 at the first session.
