We can help. Our Parent Project is designed to help improve your relationship with your child by learning proven strategies from the mundane to the more difficult circumstances your family may face. Discussion topics include:

Understanding Our Children
Strong Willed vs. Compliant Children • Love and Affection • Influence vs. Control

Addressing Problematic Behavior
Expectations and Feelings • Dealing with Emotional Behavior • Preparing to Address Problematic Behavior

A Parent’s Formula for Success
Active Supervision • Today’s Media and Technology • Creating Structure and Active Supervision • Developing Homework Behavior

Session Dates
Sessions are held Saturday morning from 10 am – 12:30 pm. The content runs in a six-week rotation, so you can start at any time.

Location
Sessions will take place at Neighborhood Leadership Institute, 5246 Broadway Avenue at the historic Broadway United Methodist Church.
