Neighborhood Leadership Institute develops grassroots leaders who help rebuild the bonds of community and improve the quality of life for neighborhood residents throughout Greater Cleveland. Our organization performs work that strengthens the community in four key areas:

  • Neighborhood Leadership – we have trained over 1,200 resident leaders through our Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland program
  • Community Health – we work with communities to achieve better health outcomes, specifically in the area of infant vitality
  • True2U Mentoring – we recruit and train hundreds of volunteers each year to mentor 2,500 CMSD 8th graders
  • Youth Engagement – we provide out-of-school activities and services to Cleveland’s youth
