Community Health Initiatives

Healthier Families. Stronger Communities.

At NLI, we know that health isn’t just personal — it’s communal. From maternal support to neighborhood-based wellness programs, our health initiatives address the real-life needs of Cleveland families. We meet people where they are, honor their experiences, and walk alongside them toward vibrant, connected, and healthier lives.

A Restorative Space for Black Women

Greetings from Queen's Village!

Queen's Village is a supportive community of powerful black women who come together to relax, repower and take care of themselves and each other. All for the purpose of amplifying the voices of black women to address the issue of infant mortality in their communities.

Healing, Support, and Advocacy

Queen's Village Community Advisory Board

A collective of community-focused, Black women with the single-minded desire to improve the health and well being of pregnant women and infants.

We provide a safe space for Black mothers to be supported by their peers, to connect and share similar experiences, to relieve stress and begin to process trauma as will as the freedom to discuss their specific needs and how we may work together to meet them.We provide Cradle Cincinnati with direct feedback from the community in order to improve healthcare systems.
